SAF Platform Statements

SAF platform statements describe the general policies and philosophies upon which SAF bases its positions on legislation and regulations. The statements are broad brush strokes and do not necessarily translate into support or opposition to a specific bill or regulation.

Periodically, the platform statements are reviewed by the SAF Government Relations Committee for accuracy. When changes are recommended, they are sent to the SAF Board of Directors for final approval.

In addition, new platform statements are developed as needed by the Government Relations Committee. Once approved by the committee, they are then sent to the SAF Board of Directors for approval.
